Becoming SPE Member
Full members are considered to be professionals in the field of Ethology or similar, and associate members are students, retired, and others interested in animal behaviour. You can consult the SPE's estatues (in portuguese).
All members benefit from access to the acta ethologica journal, as well as discounts on registration for the National Ethology Congresses, courses, and other activities organised by the SPE. Student members also have annual access to the Vitor Almada Award and the best poster award, given during the SPE's annual congress.
To become a member of the SPE, you must fill out the membership form. If you are already a member, we only need to make the annual payment and send the proof of payment.
Note that membership runs from 1st January - 31st December.

Payment Instructions:
- Effective members (professionals): 30 euros
- Associate members (student members including both under-graduate and post-graduate students, retired, unemployed): 20 euros.
